Quick Update

Hi Peoples,

First an appology for promising all sorts of wondering pictures and progress reports, and then failing to deliver.
It seems that Doing the work is one thing, but finding the time to write about it is another. Yes I've fallen into the typical flaw of the computer programmer, lack of documentation.

Well here is a list of things we have done to date.

• Had the master bedroom painted (Matt did an awsome job)
• repaired ceiling plaster in master bedroom
• Partially fixed the fornt door jamming.
• Painted achetraves around front door (we didn't have the door on it's hinges for a week).
• fixed sliding mirror doors in bedroom.
• de-molded bedroom floors
• repaired ceiling in second bedroom, half the ceiling had to go.
• removed 40 year old useless vents in the ceiling.
• installed ducted gas heating
• painted front entrance and hallway (ceiling and walls, the trim is part way there)
• installed some new powerpoints
• installed new switch box for power.

I know I have pictures for many of these things, so I will post them when time permits, until then 'Adios'

A friend of mine who is building a house and blogging about it, inspired me to create this little site for Bec and My adventures in renovate land. Not that we are doing major works at the moment, but having a record of the houses transformation will be for us more than for you. Having it online just lets our friends share in the adventure.
