A friend of mine who is building a house and blogging about it, inspired me to create this little site for Bec and My adventures in renovate land. Not that we are doing major works at the moment, but having a record of the houses transformation will be for us more than for you. Having it online just lets our friends share in the adventure.
A long time comming was the purchase of our house, many weekends were spent in the search for a home that would feel like one, and which would suit our needs. Finally early this year after a change in the numbers of the stamp duty conseccion we looked at the house which we bought in Scullin which previously was in the too expensive bin.
After a long battle over the price, we made an agreement, and now 6 or 7 weeks later, we are sleeping on a mattress on one of the bedroom floors.
Anyways, this is really about what the house looks like now, as compared to when we've finished with it, so please enjoy some pictures of the house prior to sale.
